Mock Examinations

Practice the real exam experience.

Sitting an exam for the first time in real conditions shouldn't happen on results day. Our mock examinations give students the chance to experience genuine timed conditions, receive professional marking and understand exactly where to focus their revision.

What are Surrey GCSE Academy mock exams?

Surrey GCSE Academy mock examinations are structured practice examinations using papers aligned to real GCSE exam boards. Students sit the paper in a quiet, timed environment — replicating the conditions of the real examination as closely as possible. Papers are then professionally marked by our specialist teachers using the official mark scheme, and students receive a detailed written report covering their performance.

The primary goal is not just a grade estimate — it's diagnostic. The feedback report tells students exactly which topics cost them marks, what examiners were looking for and where to focus revision time in the weeks ahead. Used well, a mock examination is one of the most effective revision tools available.
